Discover St Ives’ hidden hotel
The Garrack hotel in St Ives is a small and private hotel at the top of the town, found down a narrow, granite-walled lane, which opens out to reveal sweeping ocean views – and our handsome, ivy-clad hotel.
The Garrack was originally built as a house back in 1923; and like many quality domestic dwellings in St Ives, was made from Cornish granite. We’ve kept the welcoming country house feel, with a range of smaller sitting rooms, cosily lit by lamps and open log fires. The restaurant is in a conservatory off the old house, serving superb Cornish produce with one of the best views in St Ives.
A more recent extension gives a range of contemporary guest bedrooms with dramatic Atlantic views and another welcome addition is the hotel’s indoor swimming pool and café bar, reached through The Garrack’s meandering gardens.
